Just like bash.org, and qdb.us this site is a fork of the original QDB that resided on GeekIssues.org. Abducted Bash, qbd.us, and bash.org are not affiliated and do not share the same database.

What do the red asterisks mean?

Quotes that are marked with a red asterisk are ones that have not yet been approved by one of our database moderators.

What do the blue asterisks mean?

Quotes that are marked with a blue asterisk are ones that have been marked for deletion, but not yet reviewed by one of our database moderators.

What do the cyan asterisks mean?

Quotes that are marked with a cyan asterisk are ones that have been marked for deletion, that have been reviewed by one of our database moderators, but found nothing wrong with them.

What happens to my e-mail address?

Your e-mail address is kept while your submission is still pending review. After the quote has been reviewed, the server will send you an email with the outcome, and will remove your e-mail from the database.

Are you logging who submitted what quote?

The IP address the machine you submit a quote from is kept in the database until the quote has been reviewed, once reviewed, it is removed; They are stored so we can track spam, and aren't displayed publicly.
